    On a side note, I've never served (missed the Vietnam draft by a year or so) But have plenty of friends that did go & serve & I've heard as bad & ugly war stories as anyone else (ear collections, NAP'ing villages etc;)

    But I had the respect & presence of mind not to cast judgements or voice my opinion to something I did not personally experience, its a soldiers "thing" to make light of situations that given a choice prolly woulda skipped going to , its a personal hell, its THEIR personal hell & we who haven't served should probably keep our comments to ourselves.. Just my $.02
