Well, guys and gals, I just faxed my acceptance letter to Toyota for the buyback of my Tacoma. The buyback amount is $11,895.00. Absolutely amazing. What a company. They said they will have someone contact me within about a week to set up a time to meet and turn over the truck and title, and receive the check.

I have enjoyed being a member of this forum and have benefited from the experience and knowledge of the members many times. I hope I have been of assistance to some of you on occasion as well. It looks like about 30,000 or so members have joined since I became a member. Great forum. It's been fun. I expect I'll check in once in a while to see what's new and what's happening in the Tacoma world, but I won't be a regular contributor, as I'm going to move up to a full-sized Dodge diesel. My needs have changed. You have to grow up sometime, I guess. I'm gonna miss my Tacoma.

    So long. It's been great.;)

Eh, you'll be back - you don't need to be a Taco owner to enjoy this place. I sold mine about 6 weeks ago and I'm still here!

Sorry to see you go. I have a question for you. How long from the day you had it inspected until you expect the check? I'm asking because I have my appt. for inspection next week and it "WILL" fail. I'd kinda like to know because I found a very nice 03 Tacoma for a good price. I want to be able to give the seller somewhat of an idea on when I'll buy it.

Thank You, good luck with the big truck....:D
