    Is there any way to precharge the new filter? My Taco is still a virgin but I want to be ahead of the game on this.
    I never saw a filter install upside down like this. NO WAY a dry filter startup is of no consequence to the engine.

    What probably wouldn't hurt is a short crank,stop. crank,stop. Then start up for the pressure check.
    I've used that procedure for years ever since a Chev's pump lost it's prime during the oil change.

    Shit. I thought I was on the oil change topic. Sorry.
