    Hi, thanks for the question.

We just used lengths of 3 inch wide, 0.5 inch thick tempered steel we had laying around for the extra springs. We heated them up with a rosebud tip on an acetylene torch, bending them to give them a curve. Cold water quench to restore the temper and give them their springyness.

Two per side, one in front of the axle on top of the existing spring pack, and one behind the axle. Same on other side. Thus a total of 4.

Used exhaust hanger clamps to clamp them to the existing spring pack. Simple install, since you don't have to jack up the truck or disassemble the existing springs.

Increased the load capacity quite a bit. It won't sit on the bump stops till you hit 2,500 lbs payload now.

We do wash it, just like all our other equipment. Usually just a hose-off though.

Our old truck was red. At least when it was new. By the time we got rid of it, it had weathered to a nice chalky pink :D

All 2009+ Tacomas have A-LSD. As well as traction control, brake assist, and stability control.

Rear Leaf spring TSB, Bilstein 5100's all around w/ front set at 1.75", 265/75R/16 Mickey Thompson Baja STZ's, Trailer hitch w/custom wiring, AFE drop in dry filter, Rear Diff breather mod, Debadged truck, customized stock TRD wheel center caps, added factory fog lights, bed mat, door sills, tinted windows
And as the OP stated, the system works, despite all the critics here and I feel it works better then the Mechanical LSD of the past. :D
