He also left out what kind of drivetrain it has, that's asking a lot for a Prerunner 2wd salvage Taco with that mileage. If it were 4x4 and clean title it would be a great deal for the west coast market.

It's a little more than just the estimate because it was done by the same man that pushed in the options in the MVR. He had to see it to know it would be needed. Every change has to be okayed by him. Any change admits error. I think there are over 12 in the CCC log now. They simply will not ever put in the real options. I'll get a unbiased report. The SR5 and Offroad options are over $2000. He also still is missing aluminum wheels and bucket seats. Get those in then I sign. It should be a little over $8000 with the same condition adjustment and a doubt the new one will be as much.

I've already replaced the bumper. The real damage is to the bed. The Silverado moved the whole floor forward. There is very little space between the bed and the cab now. The sides look fine (other than a few new dings.)

I'm really stressing out on this too much. Every one is fine. I do wonder how bad it may have been if the lifted '99 Silverado hit the Camry at full force. She was pregnant.

Anyway First gens are some very tough trucks. It took a very hard blow and still rolls just fine.

Apparently if they list steel wheels in the vehicle info part of CCC you have a five lug. I've been fighting that too long. Any one want to buy a five lug TRD? Me either. Farmer's Insurance company likes that payout better too.

That bumper may have totaled a Camry. (I don't know.)

I will buy those for my 5 lug regular cab 2WD. Does that include tires with only 4/32 inch tread left?

You can see all the damage that front took from that collision in that last pic. A tear just north of the fog light.

I wish I could fix my bed. The valance is much cheaper. I also have a problem with a bushing in the right rear leaf. It's getting a little noisy.

So you show up, post a picture of a mangled tailgate and bed corner, one page of an estimate and then a picture of your wheel and expect the masses to defend that you have a $10k truck that shouldn't be totaled out with $6k of damage....no mileage, overall condition, or anything else of substance at all. Have you looked at what body work costs lately? No shop is going to touch anything for less than $500 if it involves any kind of paint. Add in a bunch sheetmetal work, paint on both ends, a new spray bedliner, and $6k can come up in a hurry. Just totaled out a 2009 Rav4 earlier this year that looked way better than this after a deer put a small dent or crease in just about every panel down one side...did over 7k in damage without affecting anything mechanically and was valued around 10k with 168k on the clock.

Add some details or GTFO if you think Farmers is doing you so wrong. Just take the money and run if they want to total it out for not a ton of cosmetic damage that doesn't bother you.

It's wrong on pages two and three on the CCC. It's part of the style and trim. At least a $1675 hit.

It's automatic with aluminum wheels. The only Tacomas I've seen come stock with steel are five lugs.

Maybe I'm missing something, but as soon as i saw the first pic i knew the truck had issues. The paint don't match on the driver's side

I hope not, it rolls true. We were in a 40 mph zone and I only heard squealing tires for a second or less. He may have been doing 35. 5000 lbs at 35 mph is deadly.

I know a shop that can do that kind of work. If I ever get a pay out they'll be checking the frame and fixing the bed.
