Can i go ahead and put the front diff, CVs, and hubs/spindles on without removing the stock 2x4 tranny? Looking at doing this swap in slow steps so i can use the truck as much as possible while doing work on it.

I'm looking into this as well. You'll need the output shaft for the 4x4 tranny if you wish to keep your transmission

You'll also need a front drive shaft (maybe rear too)

Edit: I misread, thought you planned on keeping your 2wd tranny. Anywho! Good luck, I'm trying to find the parts also.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
Yes you can install the front end first, just make sure diff actuator is off or hubs are unlocked.. reduce pointless wear

    +1

You can also install the diff alone if needed. I did my trans/tcase and diff first then took a few more months to get the rest of the parts.

hey if you need parts for this conversion I have a whole set up that I was going to put into my prerunner before a drunk decided to use me as target practice. Hit me up I got literally everything.

    Too much but not enough!
Are you going with manual or add hubs?
