I agreed with her request to lift her truck 6". You told her why she's wrong...

I don't think adding hundreds of extra pounds of metal that will be useless for her purpose is considered "contributions." Lol.

You were the one who seemed so concerned about my future plans. Back to the bro lift talk.

It's a bro lift for a bro-chick. She literally wants it for looks and you're trying to convince her to get ready for Moab. Lol

For stock height, I would recommend just getting 265s with wider tires, and offset wheels to get that stock beefy look you're looking for.

2.5 inches with Bilsteins 5100s, 285's tires, and offset wheels will do the trick. No cutting involved .

6 inches will void the warranty for most dealerships, 35's will look like they're too small for the truck IMO, and you will have to regear if you want to get back to stock power. Not to mention you would need side steps for your clients if they're hopping in your truck.

There's no wrong way. It's your vehicle. Just the 6 inch route will be more pricey by the thousand(s).

Here's a question worth asking. Is her truck 2wd or 4wd?

You flashed your two stock trucks and need to save money. Not sure tacomaworld is the best place for a penny pincher.

Sliders and bumpers are pretty common amongst the mall crawling / looks crowd and serve at least some function even if she doesn’t need it compared to the money spent on a 6” lift. Her primary goal is a mean look all of which that would accomplish and have function.

Do people really get them for looks? Damn. Never knew that.

As far as prices on 6" verse 3" lifts we need to know if she's got a 2wd or 4wd. It may not be that expensive if it's only a 2wd. Shit 2wd she could stack lifts and get 4" all around with out even needing new spindles. Lol

Ain’t hurting, but thanks for your concern, lifted my 11 and 15 and modded the 00, 08 and 16 not to mention countless wrench time actually working on these trucks but what do I know in comparison to your vast knowledge and experience.

You're right. Wasn't in the original post so I skipped on down through the normal BS and must've missed it.

Well, her options are limitless. My vote is for a drop bracket lift because they do "look meaner." Taller trucks are just plain sexy.

Them bitches look like 315s by 37s. Lol. This size tire is for people who don't want/need to buy sliders because their truck will literally never get that close to rocks with that much rubber

Do you plan on doing any type of off roading off gravel roads or very mild trails?
