    Haha I see.
Well what do YOU want? A 3" lift on these 3rd gens look awesome. Not to mention, depending on the setup, they are most practical while off roading at this height.
I'm waiting on my lift kit parts to arrive and will be lifting my truck 3" this month.

A 6" lift, however, is also a very awesome option. Like most will say, due to you having 4wd, you will have to cut the rear most -front cross member to allow the front drive shaft to go through the space where the cross member usually is. This can pose a problem for many people so you should be warned that this is part of lifting the truck 4" or higher. If done by a professional, the cut piece can always be welded back into the cross member, or a new piece can be fabricated if you ever decide to take the drop bracket 6" lift off and return to stock.

Ummm. I would question that. You are going to be cutting into your truck, I doubt Toyota would honor any warranty work related to potential issues stemming from you doing so, again do your research before you start chopping. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

6" inch lifts require a good bit of work to do right.... Look for the Brocoma thread.

2.5" lifts with big tires look good on these trucks. Be prepared to do a little cutting and welding though.

I wouldn't lift a truck without some negative offset, especially with a 6 inch lift. That's just me but its something to keep in mind when buying wheels if you want that look too.

3" with 285/70r17. If you want to use the stock wheels you will need wheel spacers because anything bigger than 265s will be to close or rub on the upper control arms.

    And for size reference.

It depends on the look you want. You are asking a subjective question.

You will need (IMO) at least a 285 tire with a 6 inch lift. Which means you will need to chop your body to fit depending on the type of lift you do and almost certainly will need to modify the spare tire space or relocate your spare because if you are too much outside 33” tire it ain’t gonna fit under the bed.

Whether or not you need a larger wheel is up to you. You may not like wider taller tires on a 16” rim.

I like more tire than wheel. I think large wheels look ugly AF on trucks. I hate anything bigger than 17” rims on pretty much all trucks to include full size.

Depending on what size tires you go with, you might need wheel spacers for the tires to clear the upper control arms.

@Dr. Emmett Brown I’m sorry but 6” lift with 33’s looks like a skateboard, which is exactly what she wanted to avoid lol.

OP, if you’re gonna do a bro lift, do it right. 35” & up. Just make sure you regear to 5.29’s or your truck will suck.

This should give you a good idea of what it’ll look like

If your not in a rush maybe you should see if there’s any meet ups in your area. Then you can see a bunch of options in person. Or check some of the local dealers that sell the trucks with lifts on them to see what you like and compare.

Or you can just give me your cc info and I can order everything for you:spending:
