FatBobs 5 lug lift with long AAL.
Thanks to the discussions on this forum I was able to decide on what I wanted to do on my new 2011 access tacoma 5 lug 4 cyl. I was not happy with how low the truck was so I decided on the FatBobs lift for 5 lug with the front spacer and longer rear shocks as well as the long AAL.

I like it overall. The only thing I do not like is the the nose sits slightly higher. Maybe an inch. I thought I could live with it but after three months I still can't deal with it.

I have researched relentlessly but I cant find the answer to my problem while knowing very little about trucks in general.

Can somebody please guide me as to how I can add 1-2 inches lift to the rear. How about the 3 leaf options? Not sure what exactly they are but would this option replace the existing AAL and add some lift? Or maybe getting a smaller spacer for the front. I would rather not lower the front but if that is the only option for a level or slightly higher rear I will have to do it.

Thanks to everybody for their valuable input.

You cannot add a block since 5 lugs are sprung under axles, adding a block lowers the rear. I have this same problem with the same lift on the same truck, my rear is sagging 2" and I am too not happy. I ordered helper airbags for the rear and they should be here on tuesday, will install them next saturday. Will post pics and comments on if this works out for me. New leaf packs are over $500, this kit cost $233.
    Bought them from autoanything.com.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Will look into the 1 inch block. Any recommendations on vendors? Also, any concerns with blocks for normal street driving?

I like confusing prerunners with 5lugs. It makes me look really smart.

Looking at this product. How much lift would this add?

I exhasted the internets resources on this. New leafs is the best choice{over $500}, heard pre-runner leafs will fix it but not sure about this and finding {good}used pre-runner leafs for a decent price would be tough. The air bags seem to be good for the price and since I do load down my truck sometimes, also a new leaf pack will sag when loaded down with a lot of weight. You just adjust the air pressure in your air bags for the weight your carrying. Here is a pick of what I mean when I say {loaded down}, my truck. Drove like this from Richmond VA to Colorado, got a lot of funny looks along the way. LOL

I called FatBobs about my problem and they said they have a vendor that can custom make them for me that will add the lift of my choice for $550. I did not actually find the leafs online.

FatBobs 5 lug lift with long AAL.

I see what you mean. I am not sagging as much since there is no load but I am still about 1 inch lower. So it looks like this product will add lift under load.

I think the fatbobs long aal added 0.75-1 inch lift to the rear without load. If there is a leaf system that would add 2 inches it would probably work for me and I do not need to worry about load since I never have any.

For you it seems like you may have use for the airbags with the bed cap and etc.

Not sure if I am understanding this.

If I have no topper with nothing in the bed my truck it sags 1" lower than the front, with the topper and sand bags in the bed I sag 2". The air bags should level out my truck whether I carry weight or not. It's basically an adjustable suspension.

In that case it might work for me as well. Mine sags about an inch without load as well. Let me know how it turns out. This may be our only option.

So you think the airbags will add an inch without load and can be adjusted to decrease the sag when you do have load.
