    Caliper issue. Typically I would say yhe calioer sliders needed to be lubed, bit ours have pistons on both sides, so it is a fixed caliper. Pistons on one side could be patially or fully seized, coukd be due to lateral runout of rotor. I would siggest braking harder. A light foot on the brakes can cause the pistons on one side to move more than the other (again if the one side is partially seized)

    Edit. The pads on my pass side did the same thing. I swapped calioers too when I did my brakes.

    Most trucks and SUVs do that. Especially Toyotas. There is more weight on the Driver's side, plus it gets more fluid pressure faster than the passenger side because its closer to the brake booster

    Years ago, I thought maybe it was a bad caliper on mine until i saw his was doing the same thing
