Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened already.

He would have survived just fine in prison most likely. While traditionally non-sex offenders feel it is their duty to serve additional justice to the sex offenders, rarely do they have the opportunity to reach them. They are housed separately and the instances where you hear of a molester or rapist being assaulted or killed is usually a lapse in security measures or some other intra-prison politics which played a hand as opposed to just a free for all on molesters.

Justice was served appropriately, no need for us to pay the $100,000 plus per year it costs to keep him alive, no matter how horrible the conditions.

I wasn't expecting any type of response actually. I'm fine with any response. I like hearing others' opinions. I get what you're saying, and understand all the costs that would go in to it. Just stating my opinion. I believe the father really did not mean to kill him. In that situation, I too would not necessarily try and kill this sick man, but I would beat him brutally. I believe the father really made a mistake in killing him. It's not easy dealing with taking a life, and the father may have to live with the burden for some time. Hopefully not. He doesn't deserve that. And hopefully he can justify it in his mind and never have any regretful feelings - I just don't see that happening. Again, just IMO. I like discussions, and I'm not trying to defend this pervert AT ALL.

The father is my hero. If I caught someone doing that to my daughter all bets are off. child molester got what he deserved. they all should get same treatment. and the father the key to the city for saving future children from same fate.

The thing is, this guy who beat the guy to death really wasn't thinking too much at the time. He saw molestation, then he saw nothing, when you came to, a guy was dead. Have you ever been so angry that you didn't know what you were doing? He couldn't think reasonably, that's why its called heat of passion.

some of this, a little of that
as a parent I don't see how you could think reasonably when this is happening to your kid or any kid for that matter.

Four years old? As the father of two daughters, if I'd have come across this death by beating would have been his most humane demise.

Four years old? This makes my blood boil.

I dont have a daughter but if i did and caught somebody doing that, i would have done the same thing if not more. Child molesters are the shit scum of the earth and should be dealt with accordingly....

he got what he deserved. i think the penalty for molesting a child should be death anyway.i don't think you can rehabilitate someone who is sick enough to molest a 4 year old child. that means there should only be 2 options;life in prison, or death.

No, if its really a "rough" part of town, there's WAY worse things you can do to someone than put two in him. Like put six or eight in him, in much less vital spots, for instance. It's amazing what a drill press, some electricity, and a little waterboarding can do to change someone's point of view on life. Just saying...

(I hope I'm not the only father of a little girl that want's to shake the man's hand after hearing about this???)
