Sometimes you can find someone selling a painted surround on here. But the dealership by me got me mine the next day after ordering.

Mine came in a couple of weeks ago I just got a chance to install on my 2009 TRD sport the other day. I think it looks great. However, I had to make a couple of minor modifications such as (trimming plastic to insert bottom clips) to make it fit. Also I can’t figure out how to attached the weather seal. The original grill weather seal is held by clips

Got mine yesterday. On a 2013 the weather seal clips pop out when you pull outward on the rubber and use a flat head to push down on the head of clip ...first at the top, then at the sides so it squeezes through the holes.

Quality wise: One of the ends on mine that slides into the headlights was broken/bent from shipping. Otherwise, it looks great.

I have one on my truck. The overall quality is fine for me. For the price it looks great. Fitment though I can see an issue. The weather guard is a joke. There is no right way to mount it. I was lucky though. There is a pretty big gap when the hood is closed. But I have a bug guard on to protect my hood. It helps fill the gap. I'm going to mount the weather seal to the bug guard.

Here is a photo of my 2009 TRD sport with the Amazon TRD PRO grill. I think it looks great and have received compliments. The whole build quality, most especially the weather seal frustrates me.

Is everyone who is ordering these through eBay buying from the same seller or different sellers?

I wonder if there is a trend, if some are always bad and some are always good?

If you can post the seller on eBay which you bought your grille from and if it was good or bad quality. I can update the first post with the information to help those who are looking at different sellers to help before they buy.
