18 screws is a lot more than i ever did!?!? the small Phillips between the tabs?

as for the tabs i just did them all in a line. start with any and pick a direction. as long as the screws are all out, each tab will get easier and easier. once it releases just leave it there though, don't try to pull it all the way out, just far enough it won't stick back in. the more you do, the more they'll stick out until you do the last one and it'll pop right out. the outer ring and the grille.

I also used some channel lock type pliers to gently squeeze the tab a little then they popped out with a little push Fortunately I didn't break any ! Remember, gently!

I’m late to the party. You got a picture of what the 2nd Gen grille will look like?

I used a flat head screw driver to push down on them, got a little excited and pushed one too much and broke it, then the rest were a breeze since I didn't care anymore. If you don't want to break your stock grill, maybe try caring more than I did.

Yeah after I thought about it for a minute i figured it’s look like the 2015 Pro. Was kinda hoping it was for the 2005-2011 model.

I'm sure this has come up, but from your perspective what is the benefit of your $279 faux grilles vs. the $140 China-made grilles folks are going nuts over? I've held out on those b/c I am concerned about plastic quality and fading but have you seen theirs to make a clear comparison to yours?

I got my Caliraised faux grille and am happy with the quality. although i'm curious if the plastic is actually dyed black, or painted black? i seem to remember looking at a couple of the inside pieces and thinking to myself that it was sprayed??? @CaliRaisedLed

It's the exact same grille. He orders them off of Alibaba. The only difference is that you're paying twice as much for the same grille. I would love to see Cali Raised respond to your question, but they seem to ignore the subject when it comes up.

We are ordering directly from the manufacture and creating a relationship with them, since we order a high amount of items and contact them on very normal basis, we are getting the top of the line stuff and we a have a repesentive we can personally talk to if things go wrong. With a random person ordering from the manufacturer they can just send you pretty much anything either high quality or low. With us we are making sure there is nothing else but the best and they Know we expect nothing less.
