    Like, so many.
I got some knock offs of eBay and they’ve done well when I needed them. Used them probably 5-6 times. The teeth are starting to wear down though.

Well, my usage has been dismal. They must have a great sales team.

Mine have held up pretty well for the 3 or 4 years I have had them. I have burnt some nubs off, but otherwise my X Bulls have been great for the price.

That being, said, next time out and they break, I'm blaming you.

Edit: I just checked my Amazon order history and they cost me $109 and I ordered them almost exactly 4 years ago. Hard to beat that IMO.

All I can say is my maxtrax have held up exceptionally well over many uses, and my treds broke on their second use.

I ran a pair of Maxtrax until I basically melted through them. They are sturdy, well designed, and there are a plethora of mounting options available. You do, however, have to be careful and heed their warning about not letting your tires spin as the teeth will shear off fairly easily and the plastic will melt. I think following their guidelines are easier said than done, especially when you are under less than optimal conditions, alone, stressed, or otherwise frustrated. The fact that I was running them with a 4x2 probably didn't help either by putting some extra stress on them.

I bought a pair of the Maxtrax Xtremes as an upgrade/replacement. With the user replaceable metal teeth, I think I will get a longer service life out of them, making them a better long term investment. If you want THE BEST, I think those are probably it, but they do cost a pretty penny up front.

Have you had any issues with the metal teeth messing up your tires?

To be honest, they are still fairly new and I haven't really had to put them through their paces just yet. The metal teeth aren't sharp, so as long as you aren't letting your tires really spin I don't think it would be an issue. I don't foresee them sharpening or otherwise deforming rapidly with friction from the tire and a medium like sand or gravel in a way that would suddenly shred your tire. Time will ultimately tell, but of course I hope to not ever have to use them lol.

$30? I'd say it's worth a shot. I'm still looking for mounting solutions for mine. Probably going to go the same route that was posted in the first page here, but was hoping it would be a lot cheaper than $50! There has to be some cheaper options that utilize essentially the same setup.

I have to clean the bed quite often as my eight year old granddaughter loves to play in the bed of my taco.

Does your truck bed ever have stickers magically appear in it? I swear, sometimes I don't want to know where the stickers even come from. Have to frisk kids before they get in.

I have to watch her like a hawk, took her to ACE Hardware today and the first thing she said to the cashier was “do you have any stickers?” Sure enough they did! Now that you mentioned it I forgot to check my taco:eek:
