Anyone tried Google Maps Navigation for Android (beta)?
    http://www.google.com/mobile/navigation/

My wife works for AT&T so I'm debating between an Android phone and an iPhone 4. I'm leaning toward the Samsung Captivate (best one available on AT&T).

Any other GPS apps that you would recommend?

3" Toytec, 285/70/16. Installing, sliders, cb, firestik antenna, Workin for 285's, BedBox, and undercover winch when weather gets warm.
Connect the phone to the computer, on the phone from the pulldown, select mount and mount it. Then copy the music over to the sdcard. Just like youd move files over from a pendrive or external HDD

If it doesnt mount to the computer you might have to enable USB debugging, but thats easy

if you want to get apps for free go to
    4shared.com
type in the name of the app followed by ".apk"
download it, put it on your phone, get asto file manager or if you have the x is should be built in and install it
