ROOT THAT PUPPY....get all you can out of it!!!

Android is OPEN for those who want to take their devices to the second and third level of operation. There are many apps that require at least rooting. Otherwise may as well get a iPhone.

I'm too afraid of rooting and messing it all up then having a broken phone with a voided warranty.

what kind of phone do you have? a lot of phones can literally be rooted with the click of a mouse. if you do happen to brick your phone, you can just report it lost and get a new one if you have phone insurance

Does Beautiful Widgets have the ability to widgetize radar? I can't seem to find an app with decent radar. Weather bug supposedly has one but it wouldn't let me press the "play" button to view it.

When I'm on the bike it would be nice to know where the rain is going.

Camera Fun Free - Allows you to take pictures in different settings, like Sketch. The photo actually looks like someone sketched the picture. I tried the free version & it is great! So I bought for 99cents the pro version, which gives you more options.

You will love the Android phone more & more everyday. I came from a Crackberry also.

I looked at Virgin mobile & Sprint when I was due for a new phone. But Sprint doesn't have coverage in most of the areas I'm in frequently. So I stayed with Verizon.

Bank of America - Convenient and easy

    Bubble - level tool

Capitals Game synch - Updates scores during games and time counter in between games. Also sounds off cheers and boos when each teams score.

ConvertPad - measurement conversion tool. It has everything. Simply awesome.

Coupons - I've already saved two dozen bones or so using this app.

First Aid - Because you never know...

Flashlight - Very nice interface with several nice options

Gasbuddy - find the cheapest gas near you

    Google Sky Map

Handcent SMS - Sooo many options and features. Nice that you can download themes. But now I get text spam from different companies. Pisses me off.

Lookout - Antivirus and security protection. Very nice.

ScoreMobile - Scoreboard for most major sports.

Wallet - Keep a record of you credit card numbers, bank accounts, and passwords for various websites. Secure and easy to use.

Wikinvest - Track your investment portolio (stocks, mutual funds, bonds, etc...)

    GAMES

Angry birds - Dirty piggies stole their eggs! A very addicting time waster.

Air Control - Another addicting time waster.
