    Country music isn't what it used to be... Even the difference between now and 6 or 7 years ago is pretty big. Rodney Atkins is a good vocalist, but I can't stand his songs because his backup singer is so damn annoying.

    i saw him last July in Richmond VA. went to the show just with the pleasure of knowing i would walk out saying that I have seen Merle Haggard. but i got way more than that. he hasn't lost a bit. one of the greatest shows ive ever been too. . . went with a friend and his father and cousin, his dad on the way home called his wife and said it was one of the "top 5 nights of his life". . . . he got in a lot of trouble for that lol.
