What do you mean. OP is has probably been sitting back drinking a cold one. Reading all of us flaming his need for driving gloves with an evil smile and diabolical laugh. He knew exactly what he was doing. Happy Friday.

Just remembering my Macan... if you have to drive an SUV with an automatic, you can do a WHOLE lot worse than the PDK.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
    Macan or Cayenne....okay.

But a Carrera or Boxter/Cayman would have to be a stick for me.

I checked both those boxes, and agree.

I will say though, that when tooling along in the pdk, you could mash the pedal and it was a darn near instantaneous response. Certainly faster than I can clutch in, decide how many gears to drop, rev, and clutch out on my manual. The latter is more engaging, but the former is wicked fast.

Sorry didn’t have time to read all the stuff on pages 2-4, but I am an evangelist for Bionic gloves. Their driving glove is awesome. I have been wearing them for 5-6 years. After wearing them, you will feel awkward driving without them. The feel and control they give on the wheel is incredible. They are touchscreen sensitive as well.

TBH I have always worn driving gloves with my performance cars, but since getting a new pair keep the old pair in the Tacoma.

In the summer they prevent sweaty hands on the wheel, in the colder months they keep your hands off the cold wheel. (For winter driving I wear a pair of Duluth Trader insulated driving gloves, with or without a glove liner.) No wear on the steering wheel from sweat and oil.

They typically last about a year with regular use. Cost about $46 on Amazon—I just got a new pair last week. They run small, so be generous with the sizing. I am an average size guy, and I wear a Large.

Trust me, once you go Bionic you won’t go back.

    Ok, now, seriously:
THEN (30 yrs ago): Driving a lot on long distances and participating in amateurs rally sports in different climate conditions I figured out: hands sweat+dust leaving sticky residue on wheel and shifter, I just can't stand it! Call this mental issue, IDK, but I was experimenting with different types of leather gloves. They works, but as soon as they dirty inside they start stink, and you cannot wash them. Was "no-win" race thru endless amount of different leather gloves, between $20 and $200...
NOW: working in construction industry, my hands usually pretty dirty (and nowhere to wash) when it's time to go home. Taking leather-covered steering wheel
and shifter feels like kicking myself into the nuts, honestly... (Ya, call me freaking perfectionist) No solution again until 5 yrs ago I discover Mechanicx 0.5mm
gloves (see picture). Awesome! $30 CAD, very light and thin, breathable, even hot summer day feels very comfortable. Washing them once a week (just don't put to drier). One paid lasts approx. 6-8 months, and that's the way Aha-Aha!

Shooting a lot. In this case they also doing they job well. Initially positioned like tactical gloves, IMO they #1!

    Highly recommend!
