Second: Composite bed. I've had two other pickups which the beds looked like :poking: after a short time of use. Not into the drop in, or spray in, bed liners or mats.

I agree. It's also lighter which is good for fuel economy. Thx for the feedback.

I love every thing about it...the d-rings, the storage compartments, the fact that it is a composite bed.

I went from a 96 ext. cab 4x4 to a 2010 sport. This is a huge jump in years of toyota manufacturing...

I haven't even had a radio the past three years (antenna broke) much less a BACKUP CAMERA.

    Love it.

While the viewer is pretty small it's still got to be the back up camera. As small as the back window is in the Taco the rear view mirror is almost useless. Especially for those with a canopy/shell. I always use the side mirrors and almost always back into any parking location so that I don't have issues pulling out later. The back up camera allows precision when determining how far to back up without that aw-crap bump into the guy behind you. Great for hooking up trailers as well.
As to the composite bed, while I don't like it "it's always rockin so you'd think someone was in the back doing the nasty", I think you may see other manufacturers utilize this feature to save weight, thus improve their gas mileage as well.
    Just my thoughts. Ken:cool:

The composite bed is my favorite feature.

Number two would be the 6 speed manual trans.

Agreed. I thought it was going to be a useless feature when I was buying the truck, but I actually use it every single day. Definitely paid for itself by now.

Honestly I have no idea. I like everything fairly equally. There are things I dislike with a passion, but the things I do like, I can't pick just one.

One thing that may not get mentioned that kind of stands out to me though is the way they mount the oil filter with that catch basin under it. I've been changing oil in vehicles since I was a kid, and this truck provides the cleanest oil changes I've ever seen.

I love the fact that the windshield washer reservoir takes the whole gallon.

oh and the size of the truck, it's perfect for me ;)

I was at my dealer for the "New Owner Box Lunch" and checked ot the cup holder in the 2010 on the floor. They are new and improved and I think they would fit in my '06!
