Another big advantage going through the inverter is that the power is on a switch so less likely to kill your battery.

The same shit everyone else has.
Awesome thread. Tons of good ideas in here.

Has anyone come across an OEM looking solution for an additional rear 115v outlet? Most the stuff im seeing isnt OEM+ enough for me. Im looking for something compact with a cover marked "115v 100w" on it.

    Similar to this -

Ive seen the Toyota Matrix plugs, but I do not like the fact they arent 3 prong plugs.

Looks like a link to a website was already posted, but I actually got mine from ebay.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/190702057229?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

It is the only seller I could find on ebay that actually sells that exact plug. Search their store and you can find them in quantities of 1, 2 or more.

They do ship from China but i have orderes several sets and they all arrive within 1 week surprisingly. I have installed several of these for different members and they work great.

I have a 12v wire from my blue sea fuse block run into the center console as my source. Grounded directly to metal underneath the console. .

Looks awesome. I'm just uneasy trying to install that myself. My radios, no problem. A power outlet through the inverter....another story.
