Defintely one for trailriding as the fav. I have been in the mud on more than one occasion. Its fun but I also hate the clean-up. Our joke about the Mounds (the not-so-far-ORP that has notorious mudholes) is that the mud from there is like herpes, once you have it, it will never be all gone.

I thought there was an area that opened up in NE OH a while back. I can't remember the name of it though.

I am thinking about joining my buddy from Clawson (I am in Bay City) for a trip out the Alpine Loop. The wife and I already have a nice trip to the UP next month.

    thanks!

they are ok... they dont chunk up so thats good, but they need to be aired down to less than 25psi in the soft sand stuff... so far though, i havent gotten stuck, but they dont completely float on the sand like the BFG ATs do...

I prefer trails myself. The other stuff would be fun, but I can't afford to damage my truck right now. Maybe when it's older and paid off.

Here are a few pics from my last trail ride. It was a 5-day camping trip across the UP of Michigan from Copper Harbor to the Soo with a group from Expedition Portal. It was dominated by Land Cruisers which is unusual for MI since it tends to be all-J**p affairs when we go on a trail ride here. We camped right on the shore of Superior 3 of the nights too.

Yes, that is an AMC Eagle in the one pic. It made the whole trip only costing it the original shocks.

    Sorry for the size.

This was on the Gay beach (no kidding, that is the name of the nearby town).
    SDC12367-1_f29bb24d22d1ecc3fbf094766a201461fcac1a77.jpg

My Tacoma and the only other one on the trip, Ian's, with a 40 sandwiched inbetween us.

Spot the Eagle? There was quite an assortment of vehicles.
    SDC12865_6c1f88b5963fc51cb78d4b9f1f5168dc2f696f0c.jpg

We had quite an assortment of terrain too.
