My favorite kind of water for bass is any unpolluted water that bass come out of. Caught this one noodling in one of my neighborhood "lakes", lol................

My favorite lake here in Connecticut is out of business for this season:mad:. They are working on the dam and there is not much water in there. Boat ramp is now over 100' from the shoreline. The deep holes are still full, so the fishing should be good next season. I live within a ten minute drive of five nice bass lakes. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

Here's a fish I caught in the pond at my house in the spring of 2013, just before several big rain storms. The pond was about 5 feet low at the time. That's my house in the background.

I like fishing in the gulf for snapper, grouper, mahi mahi and wahoo

But if I'm bass fishing it's always in neighborhood ponds or canals.

I live 5 minutes from the Susquehanna River. Big river smallmouth are the hardest fighting fresh water fish pound for pound. The hit like a freight train! I also frequent http://www.riversmallies.com
