Favorite video game of ALL time

Bringing this thread back to life......

RAGE for Xbox.....beat it probably 30 times. Just bought another copy today sense it mysteriously disappeared a long time ago.

Favorite of all time is probably Socom 3 for PS2. Favorite at the moment is definitely Farcry 4.

 

Grand Theft Auto 5 has my attention right now but I really liked The Last of Us , Red Dead Redemption and an old game War of the Monsters

 

Red Dead Redemption is an addicting game. I've had it for a while and still haven't managed to beat it haha I get caught up in just wandering around and doing side missions.. War of the Monsters was a great game though. My friend and I used to play that nonstop until the disk broke and we couldn't find another copy to buy anywhere

 

Just found my old nintendo systems. So many fun games. No way I could narrow it down to one.

RDR killed my PS3 , I still have War of the Monsters , just can't play it

The Last of Us is by far my favorite, followed by Red Dead and Bioshock Infinite. Been kind of obsessed with Far Cry 3, storyline is a little weak, but satsfying. But amazing graphics and gameplay is fun.

The classic PACMAN arcade game for me. Even a pop song made about it 'Pacman Fever'

Oh but the gta series definitely gets my vote.

 

Tie between Mario ( most of the older ones) and Age of Empires II (with expansion packs).

 

RDR 2 expected to be announced soon for release next year

 

I'll have to check that out. If you haven't already, you should play some Farcry. It's similar to RDR with the open world/mission setup but it's just a badass game all around. Not many games you can run around killing people with a bow and arrow while riding an elephant haha

 

I finished Shadow of Mordor and now I'm almost done GTA5 , maybe I'll get that one next

 

I'd definitely recommend it. If you don't want to pay full price for Farcry 4, the third one is also very good. Same premise and everything just different story and weapons and a few other little tweaks. I'd stay away from the original and Farcry 2 though. Number 4 is by far my favorite though. I'd let you borrow it, but you're a little far and I'm still working through it at the moment.

I'm looking into getting Watch Dogs too. I've heard it's pretty awesome.
