Have you received the G9 yet? I would like to get your opinion on the performance of the polisher.

Yes and yesterday was the first time I used it. I had a few scratches from my youngest riding his bike between me and my wife's mini van. Broke out the Wolgang 3.0 Swirl Remover and boom they were gone. That G9 is amazing in appearance, fit, etc.

I'm a Meguiar's Ultimate (Compound/Polish/Liquid Wax) fan boy... I recently purchased their DA Polsher attachment and it works great for the n00b detailer worried about burning clear off. I wax twice a year and use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer immediately after washes. Water beads for daaaaaays.

Well I finally bought a 7-speed variable polisher from Harbor Freight and decided to give Chemical Guys "V4 All-In-One Compound Polish" a shot.
    https://www.chemicalguys.com/v4-all-in-one-compound-polish/v4-all-in-one-polish.html

Very easy to spread and leaves a fantastic shine. Definitely seemed to erase minor swirls and scratches from my 4 year old Super White paint. The only downside, is that it's not as Hydrophobic as the Hydro Charge I was using before. I may give the Hydro Slick a try next.

I swear by the two products below. I use the Turtle wax Ceramic about every 3-4 washings and the Meguiars in between when washing as a wax as you dry. In the pics below my truck hasn't been washed in about 3.5 weeks. IT has been driven daily 7 days a week since it was last washed. 2 of those weeks it rained literally all week long. About 6-7 inches total. I have never seen something stay this clean even in bad weather.

You guys are all much better than I am when it comes to this stuff ... lots of good suggestions in here.

Older you get the less fussy you get. Wash, dry and simple wax is about all I have the energy and the time for now ... but I have had good success with this Nu Tone product. It is not in the same league as many of the products here but does a pretty solid job. Here is a review that I thought might be useful:

Carry on ... and wax away ...

-washed with CG Citrus and EagleOne clay mitt
-EagleOne clay mitt with Megiuar's quick detailer
-dual orbital w/ Meguiars Ultimate Polish on the hood/roof only
-washed with CG Waterless Wash spray
    -2 coats CG HydroSlick
    -2 coats CG JetSeal
    -2 coats CG Butter Wax

I had to do a bit of decontamination and polishing of the roof and hood; it gets a lot of grass pollen and morning dew sitting in the driveway.

Meguiars Ultimate is what I've been using for the past year. Easy on/off.

Hey There All. I just wanted to give an update on how Nano Bond is performing. So far, two thumbs up. It's been just a couple weeks but there has been plenty of both hard rain and sun. I've been through the touchless car wash twice with the blow dryer. My biggest amazement is how my truck instantly dries perfectly clean after running through the wash. After driving in rain and drying out it is like it never even got wet. I am really happy with this product thus far. I will keep you all posted. But even with just a two week review I think it's safe to say this is a quality product.

Good to hear you like the polisher.

Did it vibrate a lot or was it smooth?

Was the power cord a tight fit or snap right in place? I read people were having issue with the power cord.

I’m a big fan of Collinite #845 Insulator Wax. I use it on both the Taco and the Mustang. Of course, I prepare the surface properly with a good clay bar treatment and a mild polish.

I’ve used colonite for years. A few weeks ago after reading this thread I got all the turtle wax hybrid series stuff. Blows colonite outta the water. I striped the old wax, clayed, washed again. Used the ceramic polish and let it cure 24 hours then layered the ceramic spray. Did the wife t4r the one weekend and my truck the next. Absolutely blown away. Thanks for all the info guys, very impressed with the ceramic products. Water beading is night and day different compared to any wax I’ve used. Will try to get some outside pictures then, been busy working. 71D2B8D3-BD18-4AB2-AB8C-BDF6D51F5327.jpg

As of now I have done no paint correction. I will soon be using a Iron remover on the paint though. When You look at the paint at the right angle in direct sunlight you can see small duct like specks. I believe this is rail dust. If the Iron remover does not take them out I will go over the truck with a light polishing compound.
