Favorite Western Movies

I like just about every Clint Eastwood western and I loved 3:10 to Yuma.

I liked the young guns with emilo estevez, lou diamond phillips and kiefer sutherland, maybe cause thats kinda from my generation. I grew up watching those.

 

I loved those movies! I remember going to see a couple of those with my dad when I was a kid.

I went looking for them on DVD but all I can find is the Italian versions. Might get one and see if it has English as a second soundtrack.

 

I had forgotten about those movies. But, weren't they all Italian and dubbed in english? I seem to remember something weird about the dialogue not matching the lips. It's been a long time since I've seen them though.

Pale rider is my favorite old western and my favorite Clint Eastwood western. i also love open range and tombstone. Open range may be my all time favorite

Exactly. The man with no name series is fantastic. I'm currently searching for a Sergio Leone dvd pack. No such luck though.

High Plains Drifter and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

 

I got the three man with no name movies and hang 'em high in two two movie sets at walmart for under $10 each. Well worth it.

Also good is Rio Bravo...anything with The Duke, Grandpa raised me on John Wayne movies.

 

The Magnificent Seven is my all time favorite.

 

Just about anything John Wayne or Clint Eastwood, Tombstone, Support your Local Sheriff, Support Your Local Gunfighter, Posse, Purgatory, Blazing Saddles, The Apple Dumpling Gang, The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again etc etc .. (yes I'm a western movie fan )

 

Funny, I remember a western with Willie nelson and Chris Christoferson, when Chris was lying on the ground dying, looking up and the film had "CONTRAILS" if that's the right name for them,... in the picture. I laughed

 

I always like young guns......
