I'm in California- couldn't be much further from you! I'd appreciate it, but wouldn't want to put someone out for it.

I was there a year ago, very nice shop at the end of the tour for tasting (included in the price) and for purchases. However, you wont be purchasing an ER 17 there either lol. Enjoy, its a great time...so is the Jim Beam Tour

As teeco said they do have a large shop there but it’s mostly like gift stuff, glasses and what not. From what I recall they do sell some whiskey but nothing super rare. I think it was pretty much Buff Trace and Eagle Rare, maybe some Blanton’s

I do like the Old Fitz, you don’t see it up here often though aside from a couple restaurants. I live in a Rocky Mountain tourist town just about everything is marked up here, including the housing.

Thank you both. I am having trouble just locating regular Eagle Rare and Blanton's. I have Buffalo Trace, but that is even hard to find here for some reason.

Looking forward to the tour. Me and the family have done a handful of them including Jim Beam, Bulleit, Woodford Reserve, Angel's Envy and Makers Mark. My 13yo daughter is really interested in it and loves going on the tours.

That surprises me, with Ohio being so close geographically to Kentucky. Although there doesn’t seem to be much sense to the distribution of whiskey as far as I can tell. I’d recommend the Four Roses distillery as well.

But it's the 1.75 liter! I have a 750ml I'd let go for half that price...

Just polished off my Macallan 12 and decided a second was in order, so I went back to my Bookers. Grilling a steak for dinner, temp outside is 82f and it's been a good day.

Actually that is in my list. Might pick up a bottle next time as it's supposedly pretty good.
