Favorite Whiskey?

When we went through the Birthday Bourbon and 4roses Limited Edition lotteries, I recall trying to figure out the odds. It’s probably even more ridiculous than I think.

 

I feel the same way.

 

Entered the NC ABC lottery (it seems to vary by county). Am not holding my breath…….

 

The county lotteries, depending, are probably better odds than the national distillery ones. It absolutely does vary by county…some don’t do any type of lottery, some do, some have lists, some have email distros, and on and on…

Tried both Basil Hayden and Basil Hayden Dark Rye last night at the office Christmas party. Nothing stood out for the standard but I'll be picking up a dark rye.

I wasn’t chosen in the Bowman Bros. lottery. Neither was the wife, brother, father-in-law and neither brother-in-law. Ah well.

 

The insane plethora of spam that inundated my email was really insane after signing up for Old Forester and 4 Roses raffles.

 

No Bowman for me either.
Not holding my breath on winning anything in the VA ABC lottery either. Only Weller Full Proof, C.Y.P.B., and Old Forester Birthday Bourbon this year.

Maker's, Knob Reserve, JDSBBP, Rare Breed...there are many high quality barrel strength bourbons that are easily attained.

 

Larceny regular ass small batch as a starter tonight. Think there will be another dram later in the evening.

 

Same here. I’d say my monthly junk mail has tripled since then. Problem is, once a month or so there’s an actual legit email in the junk folder, so now I have to wade through 400-500 junk emails just to find that one gem. Sigh.

 

That’s a lifetime’s worth of grandma’s perfume…

 

This is actually round 3 tonight. Round 2 was Peerless Small Batch.
