I never go through Booker's fast enough to warrant getting more than 1 bottle of a given batch, because I'm backlogged 4 deep. By the time I finish a batch, the next will be out. Similar for ECBP, Larceny BP, and other regular releases in that vein.

That said, if I found a bottle that really did the 10/10 thing for me, I might bunker a few. So far it's been "merely" excellent every time and I like the variety from batch to batch.

I’m kind of over Bookers, great bourbon but I’m over the steady price increases. I’m talking about the steady increase in retail price.

A little off topic but does anyone have recommendations for a Whiskey/Alcohol cabinet? Something maybe 4' wide by 6-8' tall?

Im not. I can't think of many bourbons at that level that sell for less. Maybe JDSBBP and ECBP. That's about it.

This week was a rough week and figured I would pick up a new bottle. I was bouncing between Wilderness Trail Single Barrel and a Blade & Bow.

Clearly I went with the Blade and Bow, but look a little more closely.

That would be Key #3! I think that’s all five keys.

    Key 5

Just let me know where to send it.

1792 FP, RR single Barrel, Four Roses Single Barrel, ECTB. I think we all could think of a pile more that touch the $100 price range give or take. When Bookers was under $100 or just above it was a top pick for me. Now at $150 it’s loosing is appeal. I’ll gladly take two JDSBBP and an Even Williams BIB over one bottle of Bookers. I’m sure I’ll have the same complaint with some of the ones I listed in a few years. Till then cheers.

Man, best whiskey I've ever had? Well, since Blade and Bow was already mentioned, their 22 year aged bourbon is hands down the best I've tried. Too bad it's insanely expensive, just one glass costs more than most bottles of normal bourbon.

Everyday sipper though there's a local bottle I really like here in SW PA.
