Wow, you must really like Rye Whiskey. I have tried many and just can't get past the flavor. Either way, Enjoy.

Actually not a huge rye guy, a couple of these are pickups for friends. Love using rye in cocktails though, and the occasional sipper.

Not a huge rye guy either, but of those I have tried Rare Breed Rye and Michter's Barrel Strength have stood head and shoulders above the rest.

Big fan of Michter's regular straight rye, would love to try the barrel strength and the toasted barrel. I'll have to pick up a Rare Breed next time I see it. Never had the rye. Hard to find around here for some reason.

I think they use container ships but that was just from a quick Google. I haven't read much into the process they use but definitely kinda neat.

I'm not sure if it was just coincidence, but after the two 100 proof shots had a chance to kick in, I felt the migraine let up a decent amount. By the time I finished the pour of ER, it was bedtime and I almost forgot about the dull ache behind my eyes. I did have some weird dreams all night, though. No clue if it was the migraine or the booze...

I'll have to test this experiment the next migraine. What's funny is that Guinness on tap has been my go-to fix for years now. And it has to be on tap. Can/bottle doesn't cut it. I'm thinking it had something to do with the nitro, but I'm not sure. It'll be nice to know that whiskey could be another tool in calming the electrical storm in my brain.

Same here, but I also prefer using rye in cocktails.

wish Oregon allowed alcohol to be sold at Costco. I can buy cartons of cigarettes but no liquor. not that i smoke but some of us want to just be able to buy liquor on the cheap!

SoCal prices. It's a $30 bottle here in NC.

Edit: Never mind. Just saw it's the handle. That is a solid price.

Nah, I mistook those for the 750s. For a handle here it's about that same price.
