I need to look at mine and see what I have. My GF repurposed an empty into a vodka container for the bar (looks better than the bottle the vodka came in). I have a few empties in the garage and one unopened on the liquor cabinet...

All this talk about finding Buffalo Trace came back like a tidal wave when tonight my local Costco had about 30 bottles of it on the shelf, $22 was all they wanted, I called it a "rehoming donation" & walked out happy. They also had 1.5L bottles of Elijah Craig for $34 but I had to exercise some restraint with all the other shit in my cart that wasn't free.

Here in NC Alcohol sales other than beer or wine are all controlled by the state. No running to Total Wine or Costco. You have to go to a state/county run ABC store.

Just left Sam's Club with a bottle of Eagle Rare ($26.78) and a bottle of Russell's Reserve ($33.28). Those are really good prices for around here. I only recently found out that you can buy liquor from Sam's without a membership.

Lol. I didn't realize NC was communist!

I lived in Alabama for a short time and we lived in a dry county, so beer trips were frequent (for my dad, I was 10).

Was a gift from my boss, gets me a bottle every year. Runs around $2k. Still prefer the 18 over the 25

I drink the 12 when I am out, save the 18 for at home, and the 25 for special occasions lol

I'm aware, a few vacations in Utah & Idaho were miserable due to similar laws. :annoyed:

Here in CA you can do the same, also includes tobacco products at the membership stores. Federal law > private business rules
