Pick up some Templeton. Made here in Iowa. It was Al Capones drink of choice in the prohibition.

Redemption Rye is awesome. Drank it a lot the last few years. Check out their high rye bourbon also

I recommended this to another member on here not too long ago and I didn't know this thread existed so I want to post it here.

This is the best whisky I've ever had. Finding a bottle of this is about damn near impossible, but it is worth the coin if you can find one (bottles range from $300 ). We had a bourbon tasting at work and Mr. Van Winkle himself was there

. Old Number 7 is great for sipping on the rocks with a splash of water. I enjoy Single Barrel, but by far the best bottle of Jack I've ever tasted was their Bicentennial bottle that aged for awhile. I am a proud Jack Daniels Squire. I even have a title deed to a plot on the distillery framed on my wall.

    I am dedicated lol.

Wild Turkey Rare Breed would be my second choice tied with Johnny Walker - but then we are getting into scotches.

I went to Buffalo Trace distillery a month ago. If you haven't tried their Blantons single barrel its a must.

Hard to find in the states but pretty available in Canada. "Spicebox" it's a spiced canadian whisky and is pretty damn tasty and not pricey either.
