Favorite Whiskey?

This is in my top three with Stagg Jr and Weller FP. Just absolutely magnificent.

Yeah, I traded one with someone here, have the one cracked, and one in the cabinet. We literally should’ve bought them all. From all the county stores. I’d be in my sixties still savoring the last one.

How is it? I was considering buying one of those the other day.

 

Were they paying you $15/shot to drink it? Still not worth it.

 

I ran into it while at Geneva on the lake and all of those little bars, but their price per shot was absolutely out of control. That was the cheap one. I was in a situation where I couldn’t really be drinking at that moment so I couldn’t try it.

 

Slumming it tonight with the King of twist-offs! Cheers.

 

Crazy to think that another twist off, Weller SR, used to sit right there on the shelf next to that Evan Williams. And just above the Zackariah Harris.

Though Maker's has screwed up the curve by making their 46 Cask Strength a twist off. Every time I pick up that bottle I pull first and curse them for doing that

All Maker’s toppers suck. On the other hand that’s the only bad thing I can say about their stuff.

They better up their topper game when they roll out the Cellar Aged bottles.

EW BiB is or has been the king of budget whiskey to me. But damn if Dickel 8 year or Benchmark BiB doesn't give it a run for the money!
