Moved around a few bottles and saw this. I couldn’t remember the last time I had a pour so I remedied that. Cheers.

Would like to hear what you think, I’ve had a bottle for a long time and always wonder how it’ll be. It’s one of three Willetts I have, all unopened.

I enjoy it. I’m not the best at reviewing but I’ll take a stab at it. All the classic bourbon flavors- with a nice amount of heat to compliment them. The oak comes through quite a bit- in a good way. Yeah, I suck at reviewing lol, I’ll stick to drinking it. This is my third bottle of it. If it stays in my rotation, it’s a good pour. Cheers.

I just picked up a bottle after sampling it at a friend's. I liked it but will say it had some unique flavor, a funk kind of. Almost like clothes left in the dryer too long but not so much that it killed the drink. The Rowan's Creek has a similar underlying taste. I think that's why both are fairly polarizing

Anyone following this escaped prisoner thing? Not sure if it’s national news yet, last known location less than a mile from my place. Doors locked, guns loaded, whiskey flowing.

This was the birthday present from the dogs, whiskey glass with the Great Smoky Mountains between NC and TN including Clingman’s Dome one of the tallest peaks east of the Mississippi.

Poured the birthday present from the BIL, Old Forrester BIB. A very sweet bourbon.

Forgot to post, Friday night my good friend and former boss stopped in on his way back south from visiting family. I busted out the good stuff and we had fun catching up.

What’s the correct whiskey for such an occasion?

I appreciate it. They make them for a few different ranges. I think the FIL is getting an Adirondacks glass for Christmas.

    That’s a solid pick.

I would also recommend H. Deringer so you can arm yourself with the topper.
