From the one teeny tiny sample they gave it seemed pretty good. Little bit smoother than the Bonded, bonded had a little more spice to it. Planning on cracking it open some time this weekend to compare to the turkey rye

My brother has a Reserve that he hasn’t cracked open yet. Last weekend he finished off a Rare breed and cracked a second bottle of Rare breed he had and didn’t invite me over :pout:

65.85, to the moon. I’ve got a Stagg around the same percentage. The JD is a much better pour for a third the price.

Just retested that statement. Yep, can confirm. The JD is still the better of the two high-test bottles.

Finishing up my night with a FrRye day pour, this is far from mediocre though:D driving through Baltimore tomorrow and trying to figure out how I can make enough time to stop in.

Went back to Hapa Ramen and Whiskey for the last dinner in Kauai - the food was amazing. The Hapa G ramen….oh my!!

But, that’s not what I’m here to post about. I gave the Weller Full Proof a try tonight and thought it was really good. Had the a similar flavor profile to CYPB I had this week, but thought it was smoother and well rounded. Picked up cherry notes with vanilla, and less spice than the CYPB. If I had the choice of buying only of bottle of the two, I’d choose the Full Proof but they are both good pours.

Now…to see if the Fall TW draw works out in my favor to see if I can pick up a Full Proof.

They're both excellent, but the Stagg is actually $10 cheaper :D
