Not my favorite, but had some of this today. It was decent.
Also, if you haven’t had Chartreuse, grab a bottle before they get any more expensive/harder to find. Get both colors if you can, but I recommend the green if you only buy one. Make sure to read the back of the bottle.

Tons of them were here too, they're slowly making their way out. CA has been getting some crazy stuff recently - especially SoCal.
Prior to this year, this was unheard of.
W12 is my favorite Weller. Never owned one prior to yesterday. I'm at 2 in the last 2 days

Seems to be a national trend. The amount of Weller through this state in the last couple years was extremely limited, and then all of a sudden 2-300 cases of all the top bottles came into the state as a whole.

I’d never seen a single bottle in this county, and then between myself and a couple other anecdotes, Weller has made some appearances over the past few months.

In this state the BT switch to a new distributer has had major impacts, don’t know if there’s also a supply increase at the distiller level. All I know is, super exciting to get my hands on a couple things just like you have.

Trivia for the day, if you have to look it up don’t answer.

What does the “E.H.” in E.H. Taylor stand for?

For extra credit, did E.H. Taylor acquire or build a distillery that would one day become Buffalo Trace?

Nothing like a new distributor to really stir everything up.
Not going to lie, I've thought about dumping some BT products while the market is still high haha, if this distribution keeps up, dollars go down.
Edmund Haynes. No clue on the extra credit though.
    What's my prize?

You get the satisfaction of being a knowledgeable bourbon man.

Not quite sure what the distillery name was at the time, but it was an existing business that Taylor bought around 1870 and renamed OFC (Old Fashioned Copper), which is the name of a vintage line BT produces today (that no one will ever get their hands on).

Another FB group is saying Albertsons in SoCal and Pavilions are still dropping good bottles.

Pound and a half of bananas plus a bottle of W12 for under $40. Talk about a steal

Oh man I didn’t notice the Weller until you said something. Thought you were just showing off some nice fruit.
