That app can be a little off at times. You can always go to the Virginia ABC website and search for stuff there since it’s state run here and everything is listed at msrp. Although we don’t necessarily get every type of bottle.

3 bottles I received this weekend for my birthday. They're all very good but this mezcal anejo is amazing! Normally don't care for Woodford Reserve but this Distiller's Select at 45% is really good! Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel has a very nice bite to it, it's great as well.

Curious on how you came up with your prices. These seem a bit steeper than most prices I’m seeing on secondary markets

Saw all of these in NJ today cheaper, even though they were higher than MSRP

Why is KC18 so sought after? It’s overpriced, overoaked, and underproofed.

I’d take a knob creek barrel pick for half the price all day everyday

If you’re basing it off your local area that’s pretty cool that you have access at those prices

    but
My bottles are ready to go in the mail
And are priced according to what I am willing to let them go for.
    I appreciate your interest

Thanks, I know nothing is perfect all the time. I'd just like to know if I'm paying through the nose for something that I shouldn't. That's kinda what I've been doing with Total Wine website, as there is at least one of those near Nashville. The bourbon/whiskey markets in the less regulated states can be pretty wide ranging in their prices. I also took pictures of the shelves in my favorite liquor store in town. They generally have fair prices on most of their stuff, at least for this area. Again not being regulated theirs no guaranty the prices are MSRP. But when I'm in a new store I'll pull the pics up and compare the prices. It just really bugs me to get ripped off in a primary market.

Couple finds from yesterday. Don't know how I feel about the Little Book, both it and Booker’s have zoomed up in price and when compared to similar bourbons in terms of age and proof and batching, it’s starting to get ridiculous.

The Baker’s wasn’t cheap either but I’ve come to really love the 7 year, so interested to try the older stuff.

Remember when MSRP for good stuff was, like, $50-$75?

Yeah, Washington seems to be a hit, miss, miss, miss. What works best for me is leaving an eye open everywhere I go. Haggen has been real surprising this year on what random bottles show up.

I'm not basing it off my local area, I'm basing it off secondary groups that exist and ship nation wide.
They also have bottles ready to go in the mail, either same day or next day.

Not meaning to sound like a dick here, but why would anyone buy a bottle of WFP from you for $375 + shipping when they can buy it in a secondary group for $200 shipped. Hell, you can get a WFP Store Pick for $235 shipped.

a lot of us in here have been helping each other get hard to get bottles for at cost plus shipping. its a nice thing we've had for awhile and it would be great if that energy kept going.

If anyone has any leads on Makers Cellar Aged that doesn't require an international flight... :annoyed:

Love the small batch. The Single Barrel I got this year was exceptional. I ran across 2 in the middle of nowhere and now I regret only buying 1.
