This caught my interest, so I looked all over middle Tennessee for this and was repeatedly told at every store I visited that it was unavailable and if they got some it would be an allocated release. This week I’m in Florida visiting my family, so stopped by the class 6 at Eglin and they had a bunch. So I picked up a regular bottle and a small batch bottle, both were also signed, though I’m not sure by whom.

Also went by Sam’s club, while they don’t typically have a large selection they do have good prices on what they have. I looked at the Yellowstone on the shelf and wasn’t sure if I really wanted it. When I got to the register they were doing a tasting of a Sam’s pick of their regular bourbon and their single malt. I was already spending to much on bourbon for one day but the flavor of the single malt was good enough to make me buy a bottle for further evaluation.

I've seen these at the class 6 but never pulled the trigger. Let us know what you think.

Agreed! I grew up with Jameson and Bushmills being the only booze in the house so Jameson is like drinking Pepsi.

Friend of mine who’s a bourbon guy always tells me Jameson is too sweet, which I don’t disagree with, the Egan’s Conviction definitely has some of the same flavor notes as the Jameson but definitely not the sweetness to it.

Okay... I can truly say after reading a lot about this bottle and watching every review on YouTube, that this is the most overrated bottle I have ever cracked. I blinded this with a Single Barrel Camp Nelson E and could not notice hardly any difference. The only way I could them apart is the color. I gave it 3 tries and struggled hard.

This has me question my palate and life choices. I'm going to try again on Christmas Eve with family to see if I'm just losing my mind. It makes a lot of sense though because the proofs between the bottles are very similar and they warehouses aren't that far apart.

The big difference is one cost about 4x the price of the other. Also SRCNF is supposedly 10-15 year old barrels. My SP CNE is about 9 years

This stuff is good, but weird. You'd want to be in the mood for it. It's rebadged 15y Dickel that was finished in a Madeira cask for a year and bottled uncut unfiltered.

Sharp bottle and gorgeous color to the liquid.

Acquired a case of each in part to the logistical talents of Mr @jandrews, and spread the rest across a group of friends and co-workers.

These were special orders in two different counties for bottles that are very difficult to find in my state. Worked out great.
