This is my only allowed fresh crack until I kill several open bottles. Been saving this to have at Christmas with my cigar-loving dad in law. In laws got invited up to see family in NY over Christmas so we’re just now getting together.

This is the first bottle I’ve ever tried with zero nose whatsoever. Literally. Can’t smell a thing. However I thought it was delicious, and couldn’t tell it was nearly 110 proof. Loved the flavor from the finishes, paired well with the cigars as advertised.

    Visiting friends tonight. The lineup.

The Jos Magnus Murray Hill is the weakest bottle in the lineup, and that's saying something about the Dickel BiB.

The WT12 smacks that like Akon.

First sip i had of this bottle a while back I didn’t care for it…was a bit bummed I spend the money on it. But it’s become one of my favorites. Really enjoy it and happy to know it’s readily available for pickup…along with the 10yr.

Nice haul! Of all great whiskey I've scored,
I've somehow always managed to miss out on the Antique store picks.

IMG_0006.jpg My buddy helped me remove almost all my mods off my taco tonight. We took a heavy swing at this ORVW as a reward. Well worth it. Good deeds deserve great rewards!

Is WT12 now available stateside? The only time I've seen it is when my buddy brought one back from overseas.

I’ve got a Weller Special Reserve , but I’ve not had any of others. I’d like to find a Full Proof, 12Yr, and Antique 107. The CYPB would be a cool bonus but it would have to be at msrp, because there’s no way I could pay market price. I went back by store today, but someone else had already bought the 12Yr. I did manage to get a couple of Bookers for $89. I call them my consultation prize.

Cheers ya’ll, EC18 barreled back in 2005. Here’s to hoping 2024 is a little more like 2005 and a little less like 2023.

Bottle kill…and that turned into the disposable grease bottle from tonight’s chicken fried steak and fried okra dinner!
