Thanks. Yeah I live about 2.5hrs due north of you and while I see plenty of BT products I haven’t seen that particular bottle in at least 2+ years. We’re driving to the SW so I’ll have plenty of time to look.

Tullamore dew fits my needs, used to like jamesons but over last year it tastes very weak, almost watered….of course we all have different tastes it may be me lol

really? I dunno why I assumed you were left coast. NJ, DE, MD feel like it’s an easy find

 

wish it was a little cheaper, they raised the price this year…..it tastes exactly like what it is. Old forester filtered through mesquite. I’d say 1910 with a smoky/dirty wood taste

Fresh Crack for Round #2

 

Bottle kill. I have two backups. This bottle lasted over a year - crazy how hard these bottles are to find!

 

Not a big fan but maybe I need another barrel

 

My facetious opinion is that it was always bit hyped due to its history.

But John Wick kicked it way past its coverage. Whiskey "enthusiasts" and taters alike are John Wick in their worlds I guess

I think the drops started in socal and now are moving north. I love the 12 year though

 

still haven’t had the 12, struck out in PA. 10 year is okay, nothing to chase around

 

I had samples of both thanks to @Hook78 . I thought neither was very inspiring, but apparently one or the other was from a less regarded batch of that age.

Personally, I still think when it comes to Jack it's the BP whiskies and special releases in one tier and everything else in average land.
