I’m out of town in Reno, I live in NC. This is the first time we’ve gotten any JD10 or 12 in NC so very rare.

I was just in the town where the distillery is, which is by the way the base where the Top Gun School is located. I had a pour of the bourbon last night, it’s very good. Heard good things about the uncut. The bottles are heavy enough for murder.

Unfortunately the distillery is only open Saturdays :(

I tell ya what, for the price....these two are moving wayyyyyyy up on the list of my favorites. So many good reviews on it, especially Brewzle and ADHD, I'm all about it. It's funny when you run across something that's a home run right outta the gate, I wanna buy a damned case of it.

If you like barrel proof, grab some of these when they are in stock. I have been really enjoying them. IMG_0978.jpg

Today’s pickups. WT101 as the Old Fashion go to and the Soft Red based on discussion here. Excited to give that a try.

I found the soft red much better after I got a little farther down the neck. First go round, I really like it, a bit of bite up front. Last night when I revisited it, smooth and full flavored all around.

I just picked up the same green top Weller. Never tried any of the Wellers before. Funny, around here, Antique 107 is around $200....I just saw it online for $85. That's next weeks try. Can't go wrong with an Eagle Rare. For the money, it's always a winner.

Well, that is saying something because this is an excellent pour. The softness really stands out, nice flavor and drinks more than a 100 proof bottle in a good way. I will have to go back and buy a back up bottle of this and it makes me wonder about the regular BIB offering.
