Favorite Whiskey?

Thanks for the update, was getting ready to order some.

 

Did up 3 different batches of my custom blends.

1 is close to the poor man’s pappy recipe
2 is an interesting combination
blend of MWND, using cognac cured in whiskey barrels, and a blend of high end bourbons.
3 is a crazy rye mix: Balcones Texas Rye, Michters Rye, Stellum Rye, Sazera. rye , Wellers Reserve, and Nelson Bros Greenbriar

I’ll age them all about a month. Have medium toasted oak spirals in each.

 

Man oh man oh man!!!!!! I've not even seen one on the shelf...plenty on line from $550 - $750.....maybe I can sell my dog...?

Is an infinity bottle one that you keep adding the last sips of different bottles? Or you pour a new one in there without cleaning it?

Never tried it, what did you think? I’ve been burned on so many Colorado whiskies I’ve almost quit buying them

 

I felt like having a bit of proof tonight, so this got the nod. The JDSBBP was too far back lol. Cheers.

 

Good man, this is so full of win!!!!

 

Didn’t have much of each, but 3/4 were excellent. The BT Kosher Wheat really hit the spot for me but enjoyed the JD10 and Overholt too, some powerful flavors.

The KC 10 year Rye had a pretty overpowering minty flavor to it which is just not my jam. Tasted like mint chocolate chip ice cream without the chocolate chips.

Yep, batch 12. I already had one but couldn’t pass up another one at 80 out the door

 

This caught my eye in Total Wine yesterday. It did not disappoint for being so affordable!

 

Just got home from a cruise and did a reserve tasting

 

Went with the Master’s Blend Flight.
