My sentiments EXACTLY! Crown regular, black or reserve for 'everyday' slurping, and this only comes out on my birthday-

I'd like nothing better than to replace water with this stuff, but at $125/bottle once a year is going to have to suffice. Best whisky I ever had? 29-year old regular Crown. Not enough o's in smoooooth to describe it! I have a few bottles stashed away as we speak waiting for some future year to break them out.

Edit: Forgot to add- straight, no ice, no water, no nothing, just sauce in a glass!

Sprung for a 21 yr old Pappy and was terribly disappointed. Nothing but a huge acetone nose. I see 99 point ratings in ads but unless the highest end Bourbons are praised for smelling like nail polish remover, I got a bad release.

I definitely need to try some of this while it's still available. For whatever reason I've never picked it up, and now that it's been discontinued I'd better get on it while I can still get some!

oh man it's so good. It's kind of vanilla-ish/buttery. A bar owner friend of mine in AZ bought it in canada.

That is some good shit. Had it at a friend's house a while back. Gee, must have been St Paddy's Day. They aren't very big whiskey drinkers, and they tried to give me an my wife the bottle. I said hell no, keep it here so we can enjoy it when we visit! Good friends.

maybe when you are old enough to actually drink, you will develop your own taste.

Nothing wrong with Jack, but overadvertised and overpriced.
