Best BIB for the price point. I love making casual or get together cocktails with Sazerac Rye, Bulliet Rye, or Old Grandad Rye.

I love to sip on Templeton Rye 6 ($30) and Eagle Rare ($35) for the overall price point.

When it comes to top shelf stuff, I just don't like spending too much $ on it as I get gifted nice bottles of higher end bourbon that I got spoiled. My wife's best friend works for the Jim Beam company in a nice position. Jim Beam owns a lot of top tier brands you wouldn't even believe. I get a few nice bottles from her allotment for the Holidays. Every time we host a get together, she'll bring 2-3 high end bottles to try and leaves it behind. So, I can't fathom spending a lot of my bourbon as I tend to get disappointed.

I don't have the strongest palate nor am I'm overly picky. I'm a simple man, I have too many hobbies and responsibilities to splurge on my tongue and liver.

I did! I really like it. But....I've discovered two other CO whiskies that actually beat it...and usually, I'm not impressed by most of what CO has to put out.

Barrel Proof. The other stuff didn't seem to deliver the same flavor profile

After looking (unsuccessfully) for a bottle seen here, decided to try something else I'd never had before.tw:wh.1.HEIC.jpg

I bought a bottle from Freeland Spirits a couple years ago. I wasn't impressed, the bottle was cool, but the bourbon was decidedly not...:puke:

Came home with these today. Haven’t tried either. After seeing a couple of you with them decided to give them a go.

Was surprised to see so many of the bottles all of you have been posting lately. Lots of barrel proofs, reserves and special/limited batches. Liquor store was stacked today.

Certainly not the best I've had, but didn't think it was too bad---- and I'd be lying if failing to admit that bottle was a key factor in deciding to take one home.
