I haven’t had ER in a couple of years. Solid pour, but for fifty nine doll hairs, give me my Rare Breed. Cheers.

 

This winter reserve is soooo damned good…$23.

 

Kicking off vacation with a bang…or 6… after two years of hunting and picking up the last bottle this fall, time to crack these suckers!

I'm gonna have to get me one. Low proof, but cheap and I keep hearing great things.

Beam has been putting out wildly good stuff at great prices recently. I'll put last year's Hardin's Creek releases up against Van Winkle any day.

Same, I bought the bottle on the recommendation of the guy at the store. He had to slightly convince me it wasn’t a flavored whisky, tbh the label kind of looks like it is. I really enjoy it and it’s easy to drink. Definitely a bottle worth owning for the $25 it cost.

 

It's really oak forward, and compared to some of the high proof stuff I usually drink, it's a nice break. Something different that doesn't have me staggering around the house.

Took some bottles to the local liquor store to share some pours with the staff today. Left with some Brewers Coalition and Abbot and Wallace single barrel.

 

Little heavy handed on this pour. This bottle was a gift tonight from a buddy who owns a large liquor store. Was left over from a tasting but I can’t say no to free bourbon!

 

Wish I had kickass friends like that!

 

lol…. I’m blessed with a few friends who own stores…. I don't take it for granted.
