Love that stuff, and especially they’re finished right. And I always tell people that the
triple oak is the perfect bourbon to introduce to people that are interested in trying bourbon.

Normally the well whisky at my house is Old Forrester and some times Bulliet if it's a tight month. Nicer whiskys around here run like the Old Forrester 1890 and Statesman, some times one of the Wellers will be in that mix.
But the other day the wife snagged good ol' George Dickel Bourbon Whisky. ==> https://www.georgedickel.com/whiskies/dickel-bourbon

She thought the name was funny. "Dickel" tee hee hee. MAN! I forgot how smooth Dickel is. It's not the most full bodies complex flavor around, but it is pretty good and goes down like water. I think I could swig a bottle of that on a Saturday during a good couple of football games it's so smooth. I don't need or want to drink a whole bottle, mid you, but it's just that easy to get lost on "was this #4 or #5? Maybe I'm on #6 today?" Going to keep this in the rotation.

Of the Dickel line-up I prefer their 8yr Bourbon, over their TN whiskey. But their TN Whiskey is way better than JD, and the distilleries are less than 20 miles apart.

Their recent BiB releases have all been double digit age stated and an amazing value at 50 bucks.
