Howdy all, back in Colorado Sorings this weekend. I remember recommendations for a more discounted liquor store on the southern side…central liquirs or discount liquors something like that…anyone remember?

I ended up stopping into the Willett and Heaven Hill distilleries down in Bardstown KY and picking up a few bottles. The Russell 10, Bardstown and Evan Williams were bought at Evergreen liquors. I'll have to go back for a visit and go downtown Louisville for their bourbon walk. I appreciate all your well thoughts out suggestions, just didn't have time to visit.

A little disappointed to learn the 5 brothers, Rowan Creek and Noah's Mills were average pours according to some reviews. Anyone have any experience?

Still Austin tour today. Great time was had. Can’t buy bottles on Sunday so I will be back later to get a couple of bottles. All the Nancy pics are sold out.

Bottle kill. This was gifted to me a few months back. Probably not something I would have grabbed. That being said, I’ve come to really enjoy this pour. It reminds me of WT but sweeter. No WT funk though lol. This will make its way across my bar again. Cheers.

Buffalo distillery and warehouses are under water due to flood. Lost 2, 3, 5 and 10 year barrels.
I picked up 3x Eagle Rares and 3x Buffalo traces over the weekend to beef up my stock. Need more EH Taylor. May need more Buffalo trace. Great bourbon for $30 (used to be $24).
Oh and a couple of port barrel Angel wings. Like it more than rye AW.

My local liquor store manager recommended this port finished whiskey. It’s damned good! Blackberry jam, warm vanilla, brown sugar. It’ll put much higher $$ finished whiskeys to shame. $63.00

I LOVE port finished Angel Wings bourbon and port finished 5 year Richland rum.
I'll have to look for Steeple Ridge.

No word on the distillery and warehouses....
I am down to 11 standard bottles of BT (I have 1.5Liter bottles as well as 750mL and 1L, so I count by BT in standard 750mL bottles).
May need to pick up a couple bottles on the way home tonight.

    Garrison Brothers tour day.
Hye, Texas is beautiful. It reminds me of Paso Robles, Ca. Tour was great. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. Good deal for only $10. Wanted to try the Guadalupe, but no dice. Here are a few pics.
