Favorite Whiskey?

Anyone know MSRP on Blanton Gold? Im in MA and see the regular for 100-160 here, hardly see the gold but saw it for 200 which didn’t seem awful

 

Only Drams says MSRP is $145. I never see it for less than $200. I prefer SFTB to the Gold.

 

VA Abc has it listed for $145.00 plus tax.

Cool. I appreciate the info. I had a feeling so I went with my gut and grabbed the gold for 200. They had the regular for 140 which I can usually find for 100. They had a straight from the barrel for 500 so that was an easy pass. I’ve never spent 200 on a bottle before but it was a good find for me and I’m a rare sipper who likes to share with friends so I think this purchase will last a long while.

 

When did JD come out with a 14yo?

I finally found one of my unicorn bottles! It was my first time seeing it here in Fl. Five dollars over msrp! As soon as I grab another Knob Creek Bourbon Rye, I’ll see which one I like better.

Haven't tried the bonded yet (hard to find here) how's it compare to small batch and top floor?

 

I like it better than top floor, more developed dark fruit and toffee notes in my opinion. Haven’t tried the small batch.

 

Looks like some Four Roses Single Barrels are showing up on shelves here in the PNW.

I'll save you some time: Both are good but the HW Bourye is, IMHO, the best Bourye out there.
