Another Turkey fight!! This time it’s about as even as it gets. Both fresh cracks. They are pretty much the exact same minus the chill filtration on the bottle we get here in the states. The only other thing is the other bottle is one liter!
    IMG_0573.jpg
Now how do they compare. First off there is no looser here. They are both delicious! I took my time with these, alternating sips. The biggest difference I noticed was mouth feel. The NCF was just “thicker” if that makes sense. Taste wise, they were pretty dang close. The NCF just coats your mouths better. If you’re traveling and see one, snag it! Cheers.

Cracked a bottle of Blanton’s for the lake this week with Dad and my two best friends. This bottle is more about getting to share it with them than anything else!

BH and Woodford DO are always good pours. Was underwhelmed by the Tawny Port especially considering a pint was more than a fifth. Was not as smooth as the other three. BH Dark Rye is a better port whiskey.
First time having Traveller and think is great and is about 35% less than the others. Has a vanilla finish.

This was gifted to me a few years ago. It’s definitely not a daily lol. That being said, if I wanted something different, this always worked. Cheers

Hey all. Took a month off the sauce. Going thru my bottles with an ounce or two left to see how they stack up at the bottom of the bottle.

    Penelope Valencia- outstanding
    knob Creek 18 - Amazing
    World Whiskey Society Couture- mehh
Elijah Craig B522- brown sugar madness

So many people hate on the Bookers. I really like most of their offerings.

That's a high octane pour. I wonder if people are put off by the high proof / burn. Kind of like Wild Turkey 101 vs the 80 proofs. I can sip the 80 but find the 101 neat harsh.
I like the Bookers, but the Bakers is probably my favorite from the JB small batch line. Both use to come in a wooden box. I use the box to store my impact extension in my tool cart. I don't think the Bakers has the box anymore since they changed the bottle from the long neck.
Knob Creek 9Y is also part of the SB line and at half the price of some of the others it's a good buy.
