I'm a fan of Booker's neat or with just a splash of water, depending on the day.

I just had Glenfiddich 12 yr for the first time on Christmas....so good. I tried it neat at first, but liked it much better with an ice cube.

My favorite is actually a Whisky; Laphroaig single malt scotch.
But my new favorite WhiskEy is a local distillery; New England Distillery's Gunpowder Rye.

I'm too broke for 18 lol. Still in college...that might be a good graduation present to myself next year though haha

Evan is my all-time favorite. Love it...although, I drink it with either Sprite Zero or water...coke is good, too though

I always have Jameson, Forty Creek, and Jim Beam black label in my cabinet.

    Always neat.

NEVER MIX GOOD WHISKEY WITH JUICE/POP/etc. Come on people. Seriously.

side note: Not a fan of scotch. I love Irish, Rye, Bourbon in that order, but I hate scotch. Yes - even the really good stuff. It took me months to go through a bottle of Dalwhinnie 15 and Laphroaig quarter cask. I'd rather a $20 bottle of rye.

I've got a friend going to tour the Buffalo Trace brewery this weekend and he's going to try and get me a bottle. I'd really like a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle, but I'm not a millionaire lol. My friend was able to try a glass of it and he said it was amazing.

I would too, but it sells out awfully fast once released.

My local spirit shop has the single barrel Buffalo Trace (they buy their OWN barrels) at a very good price.

Sipping on this while watching the finish of the Open Championship. A little hot but still nice aftertaste.

I'll put in another vote for Lagavulin for great petey Islay malt scotch.

For bourbon, Widow Jane is smooth and delicious. Considering it is a bourbon out of NY, I was very surprised, but it would have to be great to be taken seriously.

Absolutely blown away by how many of you drink Laphroaig. Nothing against you for it, my surprise comes purely from the fact that it really isn't meant for drinking. To each there own I suppose, ironic that something intended purely for blending got picked up by casual drinkers and allowed the brand to masquerade itself as a single malt.

For the price, I like Black Velvet Reserve. About $15. It's good on the rocks, but even better for mixing.

    Hey guys,

a fellow TW member, t4r4life, had his car stolen a few days ago and all his weightlifting equipment was in it (about $800 worth). He has a competition he's been training for on Aug 1 and we're trying to raise him enough money to buy new equipment. We're already up to $100. Anything helps. Thanks!

    Here's the gofundme:
