So, about those custom glencairn glasses. @Kanyon71 is going to be able to get us some really nice pricing for custom, one-off glasses, we just need to figure out what we want on them.

    Here is one proposal:

I like it, but want to throw out a couple of things. First, we'll need to get approval from @tcBob before we do anything with Tacoma World explicitly called out. It's his brand that we need to be very mindful of. We can just do something related to Tacoma only, otherwise. Other suggestions?

Second, it'll be cheaper and easier if we stick to a single sided design. I will also say that the glass tends to look a little nicer with just one side etched. That way you don't see the back of the other side's design through the glass (if that makes sense).

What's everyone think? If we can do the glasses in the $12-13 range (shipping included), who all is in? Don't need a "firm" commitment just yet, but it'd be good to know what sort of quantity we could get to so we can hopefully secure a bulk discount.

I'm in for a couple. Compass works for me. I briefly thought it might be cool to have an outline of Scotland, Kentucky, Ireland and Japan, one on each of the 4 points of the compass (Scotch, Bourbon, etc...), but that may be too much.

Could look at personalizing each one, but might add to the work/cost of doing them. Besides, we're supposed to all be twinsies anyways .

Maybe the compass, but replace part of the center of it with something like

    TW
    WC

    or

    Tacomas
    &
    Whisk(e)y

    Something like that?

Hmmm. Would think Japan East, Ireland North, Scotland West, Kentucky South? or flip flop Scotland and Ireland?

Could be a variety of ways

Them JD fans gotta stick their nose in everything.

I dig that idea. Otherwise we go with just the USA? Might be off that we have three countries, then two states?

Yeah, USA may work... But it definitely seems regional here. and we do lump the other countries as it's more predominant there. I think anyway?

I'm in for a 4 pack of whatever we come up with.

I'm fond of all compass rose or map related designs! Of course keeping it simple with the TW logo would be great if the one Bob to rule them all gives the green light.

I'm in. But that's not fitting on a glencairn style glass
